Do One Thing: Choose Ground Shipping.
This is an easy one, unless you are in a hurry. Most everyone buys stuff online and has it shipped to their house. But are you taking the time to realize how your item is being shipped to you? Companies usually give you an option of how you want something shipped – via Ground or via Air. And if you have the time to wait, picking ground shipping not only saves you money but is less harmful to the environment. Same as taking the train or bus is less polluting than an airplane, so is having your purchases come to you “on the road”. If you can wait a few extra days, just Do One Thing and choose ground shipping!

I would willingly use ground (or surface) shipping but it is nigh on impossible to have anything sent overseas from the USA other than by air.
I ship everything by ground when I can.
