Day Off – It’s Labor Day.
You didn’t really expect me to write anything today, did you? Hmm…guess I just did. Anyway, hope you have a nice Labor Day, and be sure to get outside and enjoy these last days of summer!

We took the liberty to take our 4 yr old canoeing for the first time. Mind you, we hadn’t been canoeing since before we got pregnant with her, so we were out of practice. Somehow, we managed to keep ourselves afloat, though my husband and I couldn’t help but share a few choice words with eachother when one hairpin turn and a low lying maple almost swamped our boat. I love canoeing in the pine barrens, but next time I just might take the kayak instead:)
