I keep my spork in my purse so I always have it. It's much nicer to eat with a metal utensil than a plastic one anyway.

I bring my water in a Nalgene bottle, and my snacks in containers that can be reused. About the only thing that gets thrown out is the aluminum foil that I wrap my sandwich in.

I've been doing this for a few months now and can't believe I haven't been doing it all along. It's really just as easy and keeps me from having to replenish the plastic ones.

Great suggestion.

I am lucky enough to have access to a kitchen sink at work, so I just wash mine when I'm done with them and leave them at work.
