I’ve often thought that it would be awesome if my son and I could ride horses to his school. I have a bike with a trailer and a sidecar for the kids, but it would be so nice if we could combine my great love of riding with eco-friendly transport. Then in addition to “bicycle boulevards” that we have here in Berkeley, CA, we could have “pony boulevards”!
Plenty of people here where I live ride their horses almost everywhere. But although they don’t ride into town anymore, there are still hitching posts in front of all the merchants from when they did!
