Do One Thing: Return The Map.

This week’s Do One Thing is about those little maps and pamphlets you pick up when you visit a new place. The first thing you do when you arrive is to grab the map and the informational brochure and head out to explore the area – you know the drill. But if you are not planning on coming back anytime soon, how about putting them back when you are done so someone else can “reuse” the ones that you took? The amount of paper that gets used to print all these up all over the country must be astonishing, as most people use them and then either toss them in the trash or take them home and stuff them in a drawer somewhere. But by putting them back where you found them, it keeps one more brochure from needing to be printed. Give it some thought next time you go for the paper!
