Greenwash Of The Week: Plasma TV Instead Of A Poster.

I came across this picture somewhere on the internet and it really struck somewhat of a greenwash chord with me:

Why does a company have to use a plasma TV using energy 24/7 to say “Thank for saving energy” when a poster printed on recycled paper would not use any energy at all?

  1. This is reminiscent of the electric photo frames I see everywhere. For Pete’s sake, at least unplug this stuff when it is turned off, and still drawing 300 watts!
