I've read several articles about how various essential oils repel bugs and it looks like this company took that approach! I've had good luck with another toxic chemical free bug repellent called the <a href="http://www.dontbitemepatch.com/" rel="nofollow">Don't Bite Me Patch</a> and it works for up to 36 hours straight (great for camping).
