My wife is Yankton Sioux. we have a small farm here in Nebraska and hemp grows wild all over the place. We cannot harvest or use it because our freedoms are being trashed. When will the government wake up and realize the plant is a economy saving blessing? it can provide food, clothing, and the more potent varieties can provide medicine. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, gout and Diabetes, Instead of being able to use it as a medicine they rather I take 2 10mg Oxicontin,5 10/500 Vicoden,6 300mg Nurotin,and 2 50mg Cymbalta. A poison cocktail to be sure! Yep that's big brother for ya! My nerve pain is bad but it won't stop me from fighting till my last breath for the right to choose by adults and federal regulations to protect our children from access till they are old enough to choose. Prohibition does not work!!!! Alcohol got the country back on track when it was repealed and so can hemp/cannabis. President Obama can be a hero or a villain for all of history, I guess it's his choice we did put him there after all. Guess we'll see. Very sad what the government is doing. I've found the DVD in my System library and requested it. I'm particularly interested because I grew up in South Dakota, and only really learned about the devastation of the Native Americans in my own state after leaving the state.
