"What if by sharing (or carpooling, for example), I can't instantaneously get what's mine or have 100% autonomy in how I can use it?!?" Really, I am worried about what kind of monsters we've created with the instant-gratification and use-once-and-dispose culture that we embrace so handily. These are not major sacrifices. In two feet of snow you really want to be coordinating snow blower sharing? It seems to me that you have to be time-sensitive with that to catch it before it freezes.
