Cool, thanks Robert. I am almost 6'1" so it should be ok for me. We will take it for a ride before we decide.

Oh, and that bill was killed today, see my latest post just now. :-(

David, In December I drove from L.A. area to Oregon, round trip about 2,000 miles. It was great. I'm not very tall, but my 6 foot tall brother was surprised at how comfortable the Fit is for such a small car. The Sport model comes with cruise control and many, many other amenities, all standard. Before you decide on a hybrid, just take the Fit for a test drive.

Robert, we have been thinking of the Fit if we do not pick up a hybrid. You like it a lot? Is it comfortable for long trips?
