Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage – Video Of A Sustainable House.
If you haven’t heard of Dancing Rabbit, you are missing out on an incredible example of sustainable and low-impact living. Located in Missouri, Dancing Rabbit is a “village” of sorts, with people all living together off the land trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. In this video, Dancing Rabbit members Tony B. and Alyssa show off their home with information and tips about their natural building design and process.
Larkspur, the name of the home, features local and sustainable building materials, including reclaimed lumber, light clay straw insulation, and earthen plaster, and its power is provided by solar arrays and a wind tower. Pretty cool stuff. And be sure you check out the Dancing Rabbit homepage, where you can learn more about the community.
