American Cancer Society To Devote Entire Ad Budget For Spreading Word About Inadequate Health Care.
This is B.I.G. news today and hopefully one that will really make a difference. When a big player decides to devote this kind of cash to fixing our entirely broken health care system, it cannot be ignored. From the NY Times:
In a stark departure from past practice, the American Cancer Society plans to devote its entire $15 million advertising budget this year not to smoking cessation or colorectal screening but to the consequences of inadequate health coverage.
Nice.
