Thanks for recommending this book! You and your wife may also like these other books, which I have reviewed for my site:

The Green Series: Eco Kids Books

The Green Series: Kids Gardening Mixed With Spirituality

There are many opportunities for media to play a role in early environmental education. Through books about animals, different ecosystems, and even environmental issues, we can foster an appreciation of the natural world in young children. Doing so is the first step to leading an eco-conscious life.

By borrowing these books from the library (and/or reading them under a tree outside), we can also model appropriate behaviors for taking care of our planet.
