		<description>I agree with and do most of these things. However, I&#039;m not so sure about tightly sealing your house for the winter if you don&#039;t have an air exchanger. I leave a few of my windows unsealed in the winter and even crack them open now and then for the very reasons listed in #8, to exchange the polluted indoor air with the fresh outdoor air available here in southern Minnesota. I know I use a little more heat but think I come out ahead in the end. Great post.</description>

In an apartment of course you cannot make structural changes, but you can use biodegradable soaps for laundry, dishes, showering.  You can of course do the light bulbs and recycle as much as possible.  Use non-toxic cleaners, buy organic cotton clothes, bedding and towels, install low flow shower heads, install a water filter so you dont have to buy bottled water, run ceiling fans to cut down on AC costs.  There are tons of things you can do, and they all add up to help out everyone!</description>
