Hi Sara

Thanks for the comments and it's great you are searching out healthier alternatives! My wife uses Burts Bees Conditioner - the Rasberry & Brazil Nut kind. She loves it! Mascara - I don't know what she uses, but if you have a Whole Foods or Wild Oats near you by chance you can check out their cosmetic line. While there aren't any 100% healthy mascaras (that I know of) they do have stuff that is less toxic than regular brands. As for body soap, plain old glycerin bars work great and are about $1.00 or so. You can also try out Dr. Bronner's soaps (be sure to water them down for body use), as that is what we are using right now. They work great and they smell good too!

Face soap - I use whatever body soap we have and it works fine. I guess if you have sensitive skin it might be too much for your face, but it's what I use!

Good luck!

need some advice- hubby and I just started going more natural... but hes really cheap.

We use Method, Biokleen, 7Th generation and vinegar/baking soda for household.

Now we are working towards body/face- We use Burts Bees shampoo, Toms of Maine toothpaste, and deodrant.

We are currently searching for conditioner, mascara and body soap. I have done some research and decided to go for paraben free ones HOWEVER I am overwhelmed!

What brand is best and good for the cost?

Thank you!!
