The Natural Way To Get Rid Of Moths.
If you are like a majority of other households, at one point or another you have found moths inside your house. I remember being a kid and my mom buying mothballs to spread through the house…if I only knew then what I know now. The main ingredient in your typical mothball is 100% of either naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, both of which are incredibly toxic to both humans and animals. The most pressing of concerns about mothball ingredients is that both of these can lead to liver and kidney damage…not a thing to have just because you wanted to get rid of a few moths.
A much better way of getting rid of moths is by using either cedar chips or lavender in little bags spread throughout the house near any infestation. Make sure the bags are breathable so that the aroma can escape and keep the moths away. There is a good reason that people like cedar closets in that they keep the bugs out! You can pick up cedar chips almost anywhere and besides keeping moths away, they make your house smell great.
