Afraid Of Bush Admin, Smithsonian Tones Down Climate Change Exhibit.
This is just obnoxious…the beloved Smithsonian Institution was preparing an exhibit on climate change in the Arctic, but when it came time to put it together, the text for the exhibit was changed to inject more skepticism into the “humans causing climate change” debate. They also decided to omit scientists evaluation of the information and altered graphs to say that climate change could go either way.
The Smithsonian Institution toned down an exhibit on climate change in the Arctic for fear of angering the U.S. Congress and the Bush administration, says a former administrator at the museum.
