Bush Calls 3.5% Pay Raise For Troops Unnecessary.
What the hell is wrong with this guy? He sends these poor kids into a war zone (where we shouldn’t be in the first place) and then determines that they do not need a tiny pay raise of only 3.5%? He wants to give them 3% and the House Armed Services Committee has recommended a 3.5 percent pay increase for 2008. You are going to fight over .5% George? Executives get pay raises bigger than that each year, and they don’t normally get shot at or killed. But giving more money to our troops is not necessary? Jesus…I don’t even know what to say.
