Los Angeles Monorail Coming Soon to LA River?

Think there isn’t a way around Los Angeles traffic? Someone thinks otherwise. A monorail built on top of the LA River would serve almost the entire San Fernando Valley and all the way downtown without interrupting our freeways and could be completed in as little as 5 years. I do not know where this video is from or who is behind it, but it sure is interesting. With lots of CGI footage of the LA River with a monorail running on top of it, along with footage of monorails from other cities makes this a very interesting watch. It is about 7 minutes long, but totally worth it if you want to see the possible future of transportation here in Los Angeles. Let’s get busy, this is the best idea I have heard of in a long time, and as an added bonus it could be pollution free! MTA, are you listening and watching?

Hat tip to Curbed LA for finding this gem buried deep in the You Tube archives!
