If paper can be recycled back into paper, that means that less trees have to be used to make the paper in the first place. Not all of our paper products come from tree farms, only a percentage does. The more paper we can recycle, the better. There are huge populations around the world that are still cutting forests to make paper products...

Recycling paper is one of the most foolish thing someone concered about the environment could do. I never recycle paper. Most (if not all) of the consumer products we use come from tree farms. We eat alot of french fries, do you think companies rely on wild potatos? No, there are potato farms. I live about 5 miles from a paper recycling plant. Let me tell you, the chemicals and odor that comes out of that place has turned anyplace within a mile of it a wastland. While local landfills can be turned into parks. If you care about the environment PLEASE DO NOT RECYCLE PAPER.
