Our TOP TEN;<BR/><BR/>1. Walk, cycle, use public transport & lastly, carpool<BR/>2. Reduce, reuse, recycle<BR/>3. Reduce useage of lights, heating & gadgets<BR/>4. Buy Fairtrade & Organic<BR/>5. Buy energy efficient products<BR/>6. Protect woodlands & green spaces<BR/>7. Reduce useage of fossil fuels<BR/>8. Conserve water<BR/>9. Use more renewables<BR/>10. They really are basic and it is nice to see how it really is all about how the little things add up.<BR/><BR/>As an interior designer I really used to loathe fluorescent lights. I am loving that now I do not have to compromise quality of light for being kind for the environment. Fluorescent light now comes in all different "colors" of light and can actually be really beautiful. You can now do almost anything with fluorescent that you can do with incandescent, except for dimming and I can't wait for someone to figure out a good solution for that problem.
