We do buy petrol by the litre though, so it's confusing!)..... ah well, some how they must alter the figures. In the UK, the most efficient of the Honda Civics (not hybrid) is stated (by Honda) as having a consumption of 47.1MPG on the urban cycle (I've just taken this from www.eta.co.uk)<BR/><BR/>I can only think that the methods of measuring the MPG vary in the two countries, although that seems rather difficult.
