Louisana will no longer allow abortion for any reason.
“NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) – Louisiana Democratic Gov. Kathleen Blanco signed into law a ban on most abortions, which would be triggered if the
U.S. Supreme Court overturns its 1973 ruling legalizing the procedure, a spokesman said on Saturday.
The ban would apply to all abortions, even in cases of rape or incest, except when the mother’s life is threatened. It is similar to a South Dakota law that has become the latest focus of the abortion battle.”
Wow. So, if the U.S. Supreme Court repeals Roe V. Wade, this law would take effect. And you and I know that they WILL hear the case again, and they probably will repeal it, sometime in the next few years. The scariest part of this story?
“The central provision of the bill supports and reflects my personal beliefs,” the Governer said. So now SHE decides law only on her personal beliefs, not on the beliefs of every citizen of Louisana? Attention women of Louisana..you are about to lose your right to make decisions for yourself. What are you going to do about it?
