Green Fertility Blog
Being one that thinks we are over-medicating kids and also being married to a teacher has opened my eyes to a lot about the health and welfare of children in this country. I have been learning a lot about what damage we could be doing to all these children with vaccinations, therapy visits, ADD drugs and the like. I came across this site, Green Fertility, which states:
“Green Fertility is about saying NO to the pharma-medico-industrial-baby complex and YES to wellness and sustainability. I formerly chronicled my holistic/wacky attempts to conceive on Adoption.com’s Fertility Blog. Essays on parenting and other justice issues appear in The New York Times, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Brain, Child. My novel, Somebody’s Daughter, received **** stars by PEOPLE Magazine and is about adoption and birthmothers. I teach creative writing at Brown University. WELCOME!”
So..if you are planning on bringing a child into this world, you might want to check her site out, its a great read and very informative!
